Challenge
Stanley Bostitch, a manufacturer of top-quality fastening tools and fasteners, wanted a simplified application system allowing their service personnel to process requests and orders directly from their vehicle with ease.
Solution
Brave River Solutions evaluated Stanley Bostitch’s previously used application, and conducted an application migration from Visual Basic 6 to Visual Basic .NET. Before the migration, files were being emailed back and forth, limiting efficiency. With new functionality from Brave River, the application now uses SQL server replication.
Results
Personnel are more effective in the field because of the reliable technology and advanced functionality this application provides. All service personnel can now reliably process service requests directly from their vehicle.
