United Way of Rhode Island makes it easy for Rhode Islanders to get help and to give back. Together, United Way invests in proven programs that help children fall in love with learning, train adults for careers, and provide childcare and other essentials to families. In addition, they give Rhode Islanders one number to call in a crisis, 2-1-1. Partnering with people from across the state strengthens their programs and allows them to help more Rhode Islanders.
Like many non-profit organizations, United Way of Rhode Island (UWRI) needed a combination of direction and support to keep its IT infrastructure efficient, and effective. It was decided that the best and most cost-effective way to achieve these goals was to partner with an experienced IT Services firm. This firm could provide a greater range of expertise than could be realistically achieved by hiring an internal staff.
