Challenge
Bonita Marie International, also known as BMI Merchandise, needed a business-to-business e-commerce website to simplify their ordering process. They required a site that would be able to accommodate customers who order from individualized, unique-to-them product catalogs.
Solution
Brave River Solutions created an online storefront that allows for customers to register according to the multiple customer types identified by BMI, each with their own unique product catalogs and special pricing in addition to the general merchandise catalog.
Products in the online store are grouped into categories for easy organization, and navigation is made simple with left-hand navigation and a prominently displayed product search-box on the main page. Merchandise can be searched and sorted by keyword or minimum/maximum price.
Results
BMI’s e-commerce website allows for easier navigation to the company’s vast product offerings. Also, clients can now log-in to view their order history, invoices, item usage, and an electronic version of their packing slips. This is “greener” and more time efficient for the client, and is a great resource for analyzing activity and transactions with BMI.
