Jim McAssey, Vice President of Rhode Island IT services provider, Brave River Solutions, was awarded as a technology leader by the state's Tech Collective.
Warwick, RI - November 24, 2015 - On Thursday, Nov. 19, Tech Collective, a non-profit organization that serves as Rhode Island’s IT & Bioscience Industry Association, hosted the fifth annual Tech10 Awards at its new office in the Rising Sun Mills in Providence, RI.
Jim McAssey, vice president of Brave River Solutions, was one of 10 honorees recognized for helping to advance the state's technology industry.
“There are so many talented IT professionals and tech entrepreneurs in our state. It is an honor to be selected as one of this year’s Tech10 winners,” said McAssey. “The achievements that contributed to my selection for this recognition are really team efforts and represent the accomplishments of the dedicated creative and technical team at Brave River. Providing leadership to, and working with, such a talented group is a pleasure and I accept this award on their behalf.”
Tech Collective started the Tech10 Awards in 2011 as a way to reward individuals for their passion and enthusiasm in all areas of technology. Tech10 Award recipients are nominated by members of the business and technology community and selected by the Tech10 Judging Committee.
This year, Tech Collective hosted the awards in partnership with Rhode Island Monthly. In addition being recognized at Thursday’s award ceremony, the 2015 Tech10 honorees were featured in the November 2015 issue of Rhode Island Monthly.
