Challenge
The Rhode Island Foundation had a vision to create an online network that would further support the local small business community. The RI Foundation brought their dream to Brave River Solutions, and we were tasked at turning it into a reality. The breadth of this challenge included creating a custom database in which small businesses could turn to for assistance across all industries that exuded the positive, helpful spirit of the RI Foundation.
Solution
After hands-on, Brave River conquered this challenge with flying colors by creating a completely custom, user-friendly, bilingual platform for small businesses to navigate when searching for additional support. The fresh new design for RIBizBuilder.com gleams inspiration and hope for entrepreneurs, offering a browsable directory of businesses readily available to help others in the community—from those that are start-up’s, through established organizations.

Results
Upon completion of this project, the RI Foundation and local community were overcome with joy. The RI Foundation held an honorary ceremony announcing the “Go-Live” of the RIBizBuilder site, in which our team was invited to share and celebrate the accomplishment. Businesses will now have an all-inclusive medium that they can access a widespread array of support across New England.
